Peru
Curlytail Lizards are native to the coasts through the western Andean slopes of
Peru and Ecuador. They inhabit the dry,
sunny rough habitats of this region.
They can be kept in groups with only one male per group.

Lighting: Full spectrum fluorescent UV
bulbs and a basking light are required.
Temperature range: Day 78°-95°F Night 68°-75°F Basking to 100°F
Food: Crickets and mealworms
coated in calcium and vitamin powder.
Water: A bowl of clean water should
always be available. Mist daily to provide water droplets.
Housing/Habitat: An aquarium equipped with
an under tank heating pad at one end.
Use calci-sand or desert blend substrate. Landscape with rocks and
branches to provide a basking area and plenty of hiding places. Misting the
terrarium substrate under some of the hiding places will help provide the
humidity required.
